Quarterback Rank: #69 Overall: #363
Volek got in one game last season, going 1-of-1 for eight yards. He has played little since joining the Chargers in 2006. Volek has attempted just 44 passes during his time with the Chargers. He is a valuable backup, though. Volek has played well when given the chance, throwing 27 touchdown passes compared to 15 interceptions. Volek has a plus arm with pretty good accuracy and the brains to succeed. He can have success starting in the NFL. He isn't afraid to push the ball downfield and is accurate on throws underneath.

He is an intriguing fantasy talent when in the lineup. He posted some big games with the Titans back in the day, but hasn't gotten many chances lately. If he gets some work, Volek is worth adding. He can succeed in a starting role. |
